  • Council of Social Work Education (CSWE): The CSWE is comprised of more than 2,500 members that includes both graduate and undergraduate social work degree pursuers. The Council has been around for over 50 years and is the only accrediting agency for social work programs. Always check that your program is accredited by the CSWE.

  • Social Work: Published by the National Association of Social Workers, this journal is aimed at social work professionals, educators and students.
  • Child and Adolescent Social Work Journal: Specifically aimed at social workers involved in clinical youth practice, this journal discusses the latest issues in theory and clinical practice.
  • Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling: The official publication of the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association, JARC focuses on issues and research related to substance abuse and recovery.
