What scholarships and grants are available to online public health master’s students?

  • Tylenol Future Care Scholarship: Multiple annual scholarships are available to students who are pursuing degrees in healthcare-related fields. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership and community involvement and a commitment to a career in healthcare.
  • Albert W. Dent Graduate Student Scholarship: Minority students pursuing degrees in health care administration and public health fields are eligible to apply for this scholarship sponsored by the American College of Healthcare Executives. Multiple $5,000 scholarships are awarded annually.
  • Vivian Drenckhahn Student Scholarship: Each year, the Society for Public Health Education (SOPHE) awards two $1,500 scholarships to graduate and undergraduate students pursuing degrees in health education fields. Applicants must be SOPHE members and demonstrate financial need.
  • National Environmental Health Association and the American Academy of Sanitarians (NEHA/AAS): Graduate students in environmental health sciences and public health programs, at schools recognized by the Environmental Health Accreditation Council or the National Environmental Health Association, are eligible to apply for this $2,000 scholarship.
  • Leopold Schepp Foundation: This foundation provides approximately 200 scholarships each year to undergraduate and graduate students who are committed to the mission of improving the general welfare of mankind across the globe. Graduate applicants must be under 40 years of age and enrolled as full-time students.
